Michael G. Kim Law specializes in common interest development law and serves as full-service legal counsel to homeowners associations throughout Southern California. Since 1991, we have represented clients as trial counsel in civil lawsuits, many of them high exposure construction and business litigation cases resulting in millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for our clients. We represent builders and investors in real estate development, land use and disclosure matters. We also provide general civil legal services, representation in alternative dispute resolution proceedings such as mediation and arbitration, draft trusts and wills, and provide fiduciary services such as serving as trustee, administrator, guardian or conservator.
Real Estate & HOA
Michael G. Kim Law is a full service HOA law firm providing general counsel, governing document amendment, assessment collection, rules enforcement and litigation legal services to our clients. We create governing documents for builders, provide land acquisition and subdivision approval legal services, and represent real estate investors in transactional, land use and disclosure matters.
Civil Litigation
Since 1991, we have represented clients as trial counsel in lawsuits of virtually every civil category, including construction defect, business litigation, contract and governing document enforcement, breach of contract, real property, insurance, regulatory compliance, medical malpractice, personal injury, and equitable claims and petitions such as writs, injunctions, declaratory relief and receiverships. We also represent clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings such as mediation and arbitration.
Trust & Fiduciary
We draft trusts and wills for small to medium sized estates, and provide fiduciary services such as trust administration, and serving as trustee and executor. We have been appointed as a guardian and conservator by the San Diego Superior Court and we represent clients in trust modification and litigation proceedings.
